PNGs exported with version 1.1.1 and 1.2-dev jan17 are identical pixel by pixel (same hashes too, meaning identical files) (tested with height=20 and height=200), but the one exported from version 1.2-dev feb04 shows weird artifacts in the last row of pixels (the baseline) for height=20 and differs in 8 pixels for height=200. You can test exporting to TIFF and JPEG too. After typing out the text, use the Font tab at the top left of the screen. Next, click anywhere on the artboard to type out the text. You can also press the letter T on your Keyboard. select the box surrounding the email address, then go to File - Export PNG Image and export the selection to PNG format with the default height of 20 pixels and default export advanced options. First, access the text tool by selecting the big A on the left side of your canvas screen.open the test file export_bug_test_sample.svgz (I used the Arial font on it so the file should look OK in all systems).As you can see in the 600% zoom image below, the one exported by version 1.2-dev feb-04 build shows some weird artifacts in the last row.
